Signature dishes include our Stone Ground Grit Soufflé with Butter Poached Maine Lobster, Seared Foie Gras with Local Black Truffle-Potato Puree, Poulet Rouge Fermier Chicken with housemade Duck Sausage and Caramelized Sweet Potatoes, Salt Brined Ossabaw with Black Eyed Pea and Corn Succotash and Caramel Essence, and House Dry Aged Sirloin.

Herons is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.

The Setting
Renowned luxury hotel designer Frank Nicholson’s casually elegant yet sophisticated style features an open kitchen providing for culinary theater, while cozy banquettes and owner Ann Goodnight’s commissioned art collection enhance the intimate dining areas.

A semi-private room is available for eight; the private Chef’s Table for twelve sets the stage for Herons extensive food and wine-paired tasting menus.

Outdoors, the fireplace terrace offers breathtaking panoramic views of the three acre lake, butterfly garden, and Herons Herb Garden.
